
Samsung aims to revitalize the LCD monitor market by launching its 53-series of LCD monitors, claiming to bring color quality and design that is comparable to Samsung’s own HDTVs. The entire new range will feature a contrast ratio of 8,000:1, in addition to dynamic lighting and color adjustment which are crammed into a glossy black finish. You will be able to find 19″, 20″ and 22″ models better known as the 953BW, 2053BW and 2253LW respectively. All of them boast a 2ms gray-to-gray pixel response time, DVI input with HDCP encryption, and an adaptive image size algorithm. These new models will range between $239 and $349 in terms of pricing.
