
PocketLint has reported that Samsung plans to go after Asus and its Eee with a new version of the Q1 Ultra. David Smith from Samsung said that the new “education Q1 Ultra” would be sold for 399 UKP (from 2000 UKP for the previous version). This is about 100 UKP more than the upcoming 9” Asus Eee PC. Of course, to reach that price point, Samsung will have to cut cost and that means features. Let’s wait and see the final specifications. To me, they should not even be in the same category, and at any price point I deem the keyboard of the Samsung Q1 impractical. Of course, that’s just me… Related articles:
