It is compatible with virtually all DVD formats, featuring a burn speed of 22x for DVD±R media, 12x for DVD-RAM, 16x for DVD+R dual layer, 12x DVD-R dual layer, 8x DVD+RW and 6x DVD-RW. With over-speed burning, you will be able to use 16x-rated discs at 22x speeds without any worry, while 8x media can be recorded at 12x speeds.
