
Sony’s new DVP-FX720 portable DVD player targets frequently traveling folks, featuring a 5 hour battery life and a 7″ LCD display that boasts true 16:9 widescreen format that is preferred when it comes to watching movies. In addition to DVDs, the DVP-FX720 can also play audio CDs and MP3 files as well as photo viewing from a CD. The inclusion of a USB connector makes it easy to hook up a digital camera or USB flash drive, making it a snap to view photos or listen to music downloads. There is no word on pricing or availability at press time, but here are the specifications.
