Toshiba Dynabook SS RX1

There’s a new Dynabook in town – the SS RX1. This new release places Toshiba as the first company in the whole world to feature a laptop that comes with a 128GB solid state disk. Some of the features you can expect from this historical piece of technology are :-

• 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 rocessor
• Intel 945GMS Express chipset (with built-in GMA video card)
• 2GB RAM
• 128GB SSD
• 12.1″ widescreen LCD with 1280 × 800 (WXGA) resolution
• Fingerprint reader
• Windows Vista

The Toshiba Dynabook SS RX1 will unfortunately be available in Japan first from April onwards, retailing for a hefty $3,960 no thanks to the inclusion of its SSD.
