Via’s new NAS 7800 board targets small business server applications and features the following :-
- VIA C7 1.5GHz processor
- Eight SATA II ports
- Gigabit Ethernet ports
- Optional integrated IEEE-802.11g VIA wireless module
- TPM chip for greater security
- Via Padlock secirty engine
There is no word on pricing, but the VIA NAS 7800 supports both Windows 2000/XP/XPe and Linux platforms.
