Xantrex Gateway

Xantrex Gateway is a device that was developed specially to gather performance data on rooftop solar electric panels, transmitting information gathered to a computer via WiFi. Devices such as this can be commonly found in large-scale installations at corporations or power plants, but the Xantrex Gateway has narrowed down its market to people’s homes and small-scale solar power installations instead. After all, monitoring performance of your own solar panels is essential since state rebates can be tied to performance, so it pays to ensure that your solar panels operate to their full capacity as much as possible. Xantrex is so kind even to include a Yahoo! widget that can log system performance on a PC directly, presenting information in a graphical manner.
