Fancy this – Altek has released a GPS-enabled digital camera that geotags photos for you automatically, allowing you to cross-reference this metadata with other mapping tools such as Google Maps, Google Earth, or Flickr’s geotag-enabled galleries when you get home. Perfect for those who can’t seem to remember where they have gone during the last vacation – I suppose this is more useful if one visits a natural forest reserve where signboards aren’t exactly commonplace. Features of this GPS-enabled camera include an 8-megapixel resolution and a 3″ touch screen display. No idea on when it will be released though.
