Comcast has just made Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota residents very happy by rolling out its new 50Mbps service, with the “wideband” service to eventually hit phenomenal speeds of 160Mbps. This news will definitely make Torrent fans happy as they will be able to download plenty more stuff in the same amount of time. The 50Mbps service isn’t cheap though, costing $150 monthly. Will lines such as these see a fast adoption rate, heralding the beginning of the end for physical-based entertainment media?
