Dragon Power Station

With an exotic name like Dragon Power Station, you can be sure that is bound to attract attention. What this does is great for the environment as well, as it harnesses the power of kinetic energy to produce electricity. What Terry Kenney did was to embed plates in the asphalt, and as trucks pass over those plates, “they compress a tank of hydraulic fluid under the road, which in turn creates a series of pumping actions that turns a generator to produce electricity.” The Dragon Power Station currently generates around 5,000 to 7,000 kilowatt-hours daily for Kenney, which is more than enough to power 1,750 homes. Neat!
