The Fitness@home virtual training system you see here is a home-bound solution for a simulated reality facility, bringing the closest virtual-reality wizardry to ordinary homes to date. This basically allows you to perform some serious stair climbing with the majestic Everest as your perceived task, minus all the biting blizzards and cold. The outdoor training scenario, however, is limited by the program and works best when combined with a stepper, a specially designed projector and an oxygen mask that will deliver individually regulated supploes of air and scents when recreating a virtual training center. No idea on how much one of these puppies will cost though.
