Memorex Clip & Play and MMP8590

Memorex’s new Clip & Play and MMP8590 are meant for those who want to purchase an MP3 player but find it hard to do so as they can’t cobble together enough to pick up an iPod nano at the end of every month. The former will target the iPod Shuffle as its main competitor, and can be clipped on just about any article of clothing while pumping out your favorite tunes. It does go one-up over the Shuffle though with a paltry 2-line OLED display, along with an integrated FM radio. As for the MMP8590, it comes with a 1.5″ OLED display but lacks video playback to put it in the same league as the iPod nano. Still, it does photo playback and voice recording in order to add some value to an attractive price tag. Both the 2GB Clip & Play and 2GB MMP8590 will retail for $49.99 and $59.99, respectively.
