Mio has a new GPS phone in town, and it is officially known as the Lovebird. Features of this handset include :-
- Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
- GPS and A-GPS support
- Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE
- Samsung 2443 400Mhz processor
- 64MB RAM
- 2GB ROM
- 320 x 240 resolution display
This is good, as more and more cell phones these days feature GPS navigation systems. Seeing a company like Mio release their own cell phone ensures that they are trying to survive the future which will very likely see standalone GPS devices being phased out.
