More on Samsung BD-P1500

The final details concerning Samsung’s BD-P1500 Blu-ray player is finally out. This fourth-generation (already?) Blu-ray player will feature the following :-

• 1080p-capable
• HDMI 1.3 output with CEC support
• Upconverter chip to scale to maximum resolutions
• USB port
• Ethernet port
• Dolby Digital, Digital Plus and TrueHD audio codec support
• BD Live-ready
• Supports 1080p24 rendering and standard 1080p60

Watch out for the Samsung BD-P1500 this June. Word has it it will retail for approximately $399. I’ll still prefer a PS3 though.
