MSI of Taiwan has recently ratted out the following specifications for its Wind notebook.
- 2.2 pounds
- Powered by Windows XP
- 80GB 2.5″ hard drive
- 8.9″ or 10″ LCD display at 1,024 x 600 resolution
- 1GB RAM
- 7-hour battery life
- 1.0GHz to 1.6GHz processor range
Confirmed colors so far are white, blue, silver and pink. This is tipped to go up against the Asus Eee PC 900 which will hit the US this May. No idea on how much it will cost (estimates place it between $470 to $1,100, depending on the configuration), but Europe will receive the MSI Wind this June.
