Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV) aims to bring cell phones that take advantage of both traditional networks as well as rely on satellites in remote areas. MSV recently paraded a non-working model, claiming that the final product will feature WiFi connectivity, typical smartphone applications, a web camera function and a speakerphone, all crammed into a body that measures a mere 0.6″ thin. Navigation is made possible through its 480 x 320 resolution touch screen display, which is basically the way to go these days judging by the iPhone’s phenomenal success.
