Nokia announced a couple of CDMA handsets today – the Nokia 3606 and Nokia 1606. Both of them are entry level handsets, with the Nokia 3606 being the more advanced of the two as it features a “hidden tilt lit” display effect that comes to life only at a certain angle. Being a music-centric handset, it boasts a microSD memory card slot that can hold up to 8GB of information, stereo Bluetooth connectivity, and a 1.3 megapixel camera with a LED flash. As for the Nokia 1606, this basic clamshell handset comes with easy-access buttons, a bright display, and a flashlight which functions even when the handset is turned off. Both models will be available in Q3 this year at a yet undisclosed price.
