Philips isn’t exactly the biggest name when it comes to cell phones, but so far they haven’t decided to pull out of the race just yet. The dual-band GSM M600 is their latest effort, featuring SRS Labs’ WOW equalizer technology for enhanced audio quality as well as simulated 3D surround sound. Supported audio formats include MP3, WAV and AAC, which can be listened over a pair of wireless headphones thanks to its Bluetooth 2.0 A2DP connection. Other features include :-
- 2″ 170 x 220 256k color display
- 1.3 megapixel camera with video recording
- microSD memory card slot
- Java MIDP 2.0 support
There is no word in pricing, and strangely enough the Philips M600 is now available in China only.
