Pioneer BDP-LX71 Blu-ray Player

Pioneer is going full steam ahead with its BDP-LX71 Blu-ray player is tipped to arrive on European shores sometime this summer. Some of the improvements include BonusView Profile 1.1 for interactivity, 12-bit deep color support, a 297MHz 12-bit video encoder, and 1080p playback at 24fps. Unfortunately, the BonusView Profile 1.1 just won’t be able to match the PS3 which is already in 2.0, making Sony’s game console one of the better Blu-ray players around. I’m a Nintendo fanboy, so imagine how hard it was for me to say that! Audio-wise, an impressive array of improvements include support for bitstreaming and decoding of all the audio formats (Dolby TrueHD and DRTS-HD Master Audio included).
