PS3 Video Service, In-game XMB Confirmed

PS3 owners seem to be pretty happy these days, with their console being a solid Blu-ray player as Sony intended originally while receiving a whole host of service updates and upgrades to enhance the playing experience. Sony has confirmed that a PS3 video service is always under construction, and will be different from what you know is in the market these days – hopefully the folks at Sony won’t reinvent the wheel just for the sake of being different. There are also plans to allow XMB access in the middle of a game, a feature that has long been available on the Xbox 360 which clearly adds to the latter’s appeal. I wonder with such an improvement, will those sitting on the fence pick the PS3 as their primary home console of choice?
