VTech’s new IS6110 cordless landline phone was specially designed to look like a smartphone, so you might actually fool visitors to your home by leaving it on the coffee table. Features include a full QWERTY keyboard for instant messaging purposes, connectivity to a variety of IM programs such as Windows Live Messenger and AOL Instant Messenger, a click-to-talk feature for peer-to-peer voice chats and a large LCD color display. Before you can go online though, you will have to be connected to a USB port on your PC, which is pretty pointless since you can type much better on a computer keyboard in the first place. Would be cool to have WiFi connectivity built into this $99.99 phone though.
