Western Digital has rolled out a new external hard drive yet again, and this time we have the My Book Studio Edition II up for inspection. Available in massive 1TB and 2TB capacities, features include :-
- FireWire 400/800
- eSATA
- USB 2.0
- RAID 0 or 1
- Mac support (can be reformatted for PCs)
The only drawback would be the price – you will need to fork out $399 and $599 for the 1TB and 2TB models, which is roughly $200 to $300 more than what you would fork out for similarly-sized drives. I guess if you need connectivity, then those extra dollars would be well worth it.
