
AMD’s Griffin which will be unveiled at Computex is actually the Turion Ultra, and you will be able to find this along with a mobile version of the 780G chipset, a Mobility Radeon 3200 graphics chip and Wi-Fi solutions on the new Puma platform. Puma will probably make its way in most major notebook form factors (12.1”, 13.3”, 15.4” and 17″), targeting the volume business instead of the growing SSD demographic, since the latter is still deemed to be “too expensive”.
