Asus’ new DRW-20B1S/B1ST DVD rewriter is the human equivalent of a superhuman – it is more than able to handle anything thrown at it with gutso. In addition to supporting a myriad of formats including 12X DVD-RAM write, 20X DVD+/-R and 12X DVD+/-R, this DVD rewriter also boasts Optimal Tuning Strategy technology that automatically adjusts burning for optimum disc backups. In addition, you get an E-Green Engine for added energy savings, which is always a good thing if you have a few hundred computers running in your company. The latter mode is activated whenever the drive remains idle for 2.5 minutes, helping decrease CO2 emissions and the rapid decrease of trees around the globe. Dunno how much it will cost though.
