
There won’t be any WiMAX technology built into the Asus Eee PC 901 according to Asus’s CEO this January, but that doesn’t mean that the technology won’t be available throughout it’s lifetime. Apparently, WiMAX will only be made available as an option to contract customers – a wise move considering the WiMAX market does not look like maturing even when the year is over. I wonder just how many cities will offer WiMAX connectivity in the long run?
