AT&T Offers Insurance

Just to echo the words from the famous MAD magazine – What, me worry? AT&T is said to offer a brand new insurance program in the forseeable future, basically covering all the devices that is available from AT&T themselves. While previous insurance programs targeted low-cost handsets only (pretty ironic when you think about it), June 2nd is the date to look out for if you happen to tote a spanking new high-end handset from AT&T. The insurance will cost you $4.99 monthly, which is a pittance to pay considering the peace of mind you get that a trashed handset will be replaced (as long as the damage is according to the contract signed, that is).
