Endless Ideas is a Netherlands-based company who has come up with a new e-book known as the BeBook. This is possibly a rebrand of the China-sourced Hanlin V3, as it features the following :-
- 6″ 600 x 800 e-paper display
- Supports DOC, TXT, PDF, JPG, HTM and RTF files
- 512MB on-board memory
- SD memory card slot
- USB 1.1 connectivity (what the?!)
In addition to reading e-books, the BeBook will be able to playback MP3s and audiobooks as well. It retails for €329.95 ($509) and comes with free international shipping. Would be nice to see WiFi connectivity built right into it though.
