
Dell decided to up the ante in its XPS M1730 gaming notebook by including the new Seagata laptop hard drive that spins along at a speedy 7200rpm complete with 320GB of storage space. This 2.5″ hard drive feature the following :-
- Fast Serial ATA 3.0 Gbit/second interface
- 7200rpm spin speed
- 16MB cache
- G-Force Protection
- Free-fall sensor technology
The XPS M1730 won’t be the only laptop to benefit from Seagate’s breakthrough in portable storage, but it will soon be available as an option in selected Alienware laptops.
