Helius Solar Backpack

More solar powered goodness – this time round we have the Helius Solar Backpack that comes with all the relevant charging tips required for today’s urban warrior, including an iPod/iPhone tip, miniUSB, Samsung, LG, Nokia and Motorola adapters. The Helius Solar Backpack is touted to power an iPhone up to 7 hours, while a GPS system will be able to go on for another 3.5 hours. Those are official figures, but it remains to be seen just how well those claims live up to real world testing. Other features include a headphone port for you to listen to your MP3 player whilst it is being charged. While it can hold up to a 15.4″ laptop, it doesn’t charge those – bummer. The Helius Solar Backpack retails for $129.95 each.
