MacBooks in 2009 to have LED Display

Word has it that in 2009, all MacBooks shipped will come with an LED-backlit display. While this news has yet to receive confirmation, it does add up when you consider the fact that currently, Apple is already including LEDs in its MacBook Pro and MacBook Air lines. After all, LEDs are an eco-friendly solution for display production, offering superior brightness, color and battery life to standard LCD displays. Well, one and a half years ain’t too far away considering how fast time passes by these days.
