Frankly, I wouldn’t call this a bicycle, as it is more of a modern update to the penny farthing. The Magic Wheel functions like a foot scooter and helps you get around although you won’t be breaking any land speed records anytime soon. It apparently takes a couple of hours to master it, retailing for $230 a pop – which is roughly as much as a full-fledged mountain bike. The Magic Wheel is available in selected Asian markets as well as those in the US and Europe. Doesn’t look too friendly on the groin area when it comes to accidental falls though – I’d feel safer on a skateboard or a pair of roller blades.
