Sony takes after Nintendo’s footsteps by unveiling a new color for their PSP that is doing pretty well these days. This time round, you will be able to pick up a metallic blue edition, but it isn’t available as a standalone product when it arrives on store shelves this August 12th. Instead, it will retail for $200 and is accompanied by Madden 09, “NFL: In Just One Play” on UMD, a 1GB Memory Stick, and a downloadable PSP game known as Beats. Do you think the extra dough you fork out is worth it? I suppose only if you’re a sports game fan, but otherwise it would be better to score a second hand model via eBay.
