Mobile WiMAX Technology Ready for Commercial Service

Samsung and Sprint have declared that mobile WiMAX technology is ready to rock and roll where commercial service is concerned. While it is very close to commercialization, it remains to be seen whether the touted standards of performance will be able to live up to expectations. After all, it isn’t as though we consumers weren’t burnt by marketing claims in the past, right? Remember the PS2 and how it was supposed to render Toy Story 2 graphics?
