Western Digital My Passport Studio for Mac Users

Mac users are no longer left out with Western Digital offering the My Passport Studio portable drive, as it now works just fine with Apple’s Time Machine backup feature that is available on its Leopard operating system. Of course, you will be able to take full advantage of the My Passport Studio for some time already if you’re running on a windows platform. Tipping the scales at a mere 5 ounces, you will be able to choose from 250GB and 320GB capacities that retail for $159.99 and $219.99, respectively. These drives will feature FireWire 400 and USB 2.0 connectivity, doing away with the need for an external power source. The inclusion of a Capacity Gauge also allows one to know just how much space there is left in the drive at a glance. Other features include :-

  • Formatted HFS+
  • FireWire 400 and USB 2.0 interfaces
  • Capacity gauge
  • Works with Apple Time Machine backup feature
  • USB powered
  • 5-year limited warranty
  • Eegant silver metallic finish
