Matsushita has plans to mass produce 37″ OLED TVs within the next three years, and this is an interesting development since it could prove the spark to jump-start the OLED market which is priced out of reach of ordinary folk at this point in time. Matsushita is targeting a neighborhood price of $1,400 for the entry level 37″ model, which bodes well since OLED is by far more superior compared to LCD technology that rules the roost at this point in time. If you haven’t yet upgraded to the world of HDTV, when will you take the plunge?
