Brain composes Music

It could be in the very near future when musicians will be able to compose their masterpieces by using their mind, thanks to researchers at Goldsmiths, University of London who have developed technology to translate thoughts into musical notes. Dubbed the Brain Computer Interface for Music, one will have to look like a science experiment though, with electrodes attached to the head. These electrodes will pick up electrical impulses from the brain, which will then be passed through an EEG machine and analyzed, resulting in the right notes which you want to play. I guess this would level the playing field when it comes to deaf folks composing great tunes like how Beethoven did so many centuries ago without the help of technology.
