With Windows Vista being out for quite some time already, there are still folks who prefer Windows XP instead. Dell has decided to charge consumers up to £60 when it comes to installation of Windows XP on new PCs and laptops, which is daylight robbery IMHO. This ‘downgrade’ service should not cost that much – after all, it is but a tedious journey to take, but there isn’t a high level of technicalities involved during the installation process, so why the prohibitively high cost?
