
According to reports on the WSJ, the Google Mobile Phone OS Android will experience a delay, missing the 2H 2008 roll-out date as a number of carriers have issues getting hold of Android handsets before the year is over. Other than logistical issues, other problems could possibly include the lack of time to get Android applications ready for the operating system’s debut. After all, there are application developers who are already focusing more on the iPhone platform, anticipating that the 3G iPhone will really take off when it is released this July. iPhone owners, will you still pick up the Android-based smartphone when it is released?
