iLuv has started to ship the i1255 device that not only functions as a DVD player, it also boasts iPod connectivity, allowing compatible iPods to dock on it while outputting video to an attached TV. You won’t get high definition videos with the i1255, but hey, there are still billions of people around the world who are doing pretty OK with standard definition. Other features include MP3 and JPEG support in addition to 5.1-channel surround sound. The i1255 is compatible with the iPod touch, iPod classic, iPod nano2G , and iPod Video, retailing for $150 a pop.
