JBL’s new loudspeakers, dubbed Control Now, are unusually shaped and yet capable of offering a great degree of flexibility when it comes to custom audio installation, be it indoors (black) or outdoors (white). The Control Now loudspeakers can be purchased individually to facilitate custom installations as the two-way, dual 4″ loudspeakers were specially designed to function as bookshelf, wall-mount, or corner-mount speakers. Heck, you can even choose to set it up in semi-circles and full loops if you want. The 8 Ohm speakers can pump out up to 150 Watts realistically without the sound experiencing any distortion, although in theory it can handle up to 300 Watts at peak. They aren’t waterproof though, so make sure these speakers are properly shielded from the elements if you decide to take the outdoor route. The JBL Control Now loudspeakers will retail for $249 a pop.
