Most brainstorming rooms are sordid affairs, but Kayac has teamed up with researchers from Keio University to go against the grain by developing a high-tech brainstorming room which is able to listen to its inhabitants, coming up with the relevant data and images to help them along. One can only wonder what happens when the team takes five and starts indulging in some juvenile talk. Dubbed the “Kage Roi”, the system relies on a speech-recognition capable computer which will be able to identify keywords through a microphone, following that up with relevant information or images. I guess this gives greater onus on web publishers to name their uploaded images correctly.
