Mitsubishi Design Center Japan and Ashcraft Design have teamed up to develop the Mitsubishi Flat Panel TV concept that plays an exploratory role on the colors, materials and interior trends in the US. This 50″ TV is meant to study the feasibility of thinking out of the box, including using LCD monitor modules with video camera that links the user with variouos security features such as child monitoring capability, real-time video sharing and two-way video communications. The modules have been discreetly integrated inside the TV, and will extend itself when activated to make the 16:9 viewing experience more rewarding.
