Modified Wii Fit Board

The more creative folk out there have managed to find a way to use the Nintendo Wii Fit board for different purposes, including navigating through Google Earth as well as World of Warcraft 3 simply by wriggling your body ala Michael Jackson. While you won’t be able to play out a full campaign in this manner on Blizzard’s hugely successful MMORPG, it is still proof-of-concept that the idea could work in the future if it was further refined. Future work would involve coupling a secondary control into the gameplay. Does this mean that virtual reality hardware is getting nearer to being released for the masses? All I can say is, exciting times are ahead of us.
