Nextar’s T30 portable media player is strangely familiar, as it doesn’t do anything out of the ordinary and apparently functions as it ought to be, carrying a $99 price tag in the process. You get 4GB of internal memory, an SD memory card slot to bump that up by another 2GB at best, a built-in FM tuner, voice recording capability and a 3.5″ 320 x 240 resolution LCD display. It supports the most popular audio and video formats today, and at that price point it is pretty hard to argue against a purchase. I can safely say the T30 is like a wife whom you’re happily married to, boasting all the familiarity and warmth each time you come home.
