Sharp has achieved phenomenal sales for the One-Seg cell phone – over 10 million of such handsets have already been shipped in Japan within a couple of years of its release. Bear in mind this number is just from Sharp alone – what about all the other One-Seg cell phone manufacturers in Japan? This means the whole nation there is nuts about getting their favorite TV shows on-the-go, but apparently Sharp has the upper hand when it comes to snagging the hearts (and wallets) of the people there.
