Guess it is only natural for SanDisk to kill off its TakeTV device after offing the Fanfare online video store earlier this month. Originally meant to be a USB PC-to-TV video device that has pretty good potential, featuring playback support for XviD, DivX and MPEG-4 formats on a TV, this move makes sense since it was also meant to complement the Fanfare video service as well. Well, if you’re a TakeTV owner I guess there isn’t much you can do except to be more careful about which technology you invest in the next time around, my sympathies to you.
