Toshiba Sportio for Exercise Nuts

The Toshiba Sportio cell phone targets the exercise-mad crowd in Japan, featuring a calorie counter, a distance-measuring application and integrated GPS. Thankfully audio and video playback have been included, making the trip to the gym or pounding the pavement with daily runs more enjoyable. Other features include :-

• 2 megapixel camera
• Audio and video playback
• Bluetooth connectivity
• Internet and email

The Toshiba Sportio will be available later this month in five colors – white, black, green, orange and red. No idea on how much it will cost though, but KDDI did mention this will be a Japan-only handset.
