Toshiba has a new projector for the masses which it claims won’t burn a hole in your pocket – the TDP-SP1U. This one retails for a mere $719 (relatively cheap when compared to others) and is a lightweight at just 4.8 pounds. Other features include :-
- DLP BrilliantColor
- Extended lamp life of up to 4,000 hours
- 2,200 lumens brightness
- 2,000:1 contrast ratio
- 800 x 600 resolution
- Password protection
- 2-watt speaker
I’m rather disappointed by the resolution though – it just won’t do in this day and age. Ah well, I guess when you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.
