VIA’s new Mini-ITX design has just been released, and this one will target multimedia nuts with high definition video and Blu-ray disc playback and DirectX 10 support. In addition, you will get the following features :-
- 6-channel surround sound
- 16-lane PCI Express slot
- Support for minimum 2GB DDR2 SDRAM
- VGA port for LCD display
- HDMI port on add-in card
- 3 Audio jacks
- Gigabit LAN port
- 2 Serial ATA II slots + 1 IDE (PATA) slot
- Four USB 2.0 ports
Supported operating systems include Windows and Linux platforms – Mac users are left in a lurch as usual, but then again that group won’t settle for such mediocrity in the first place anyways.
