3 of UK has news that there will be a new Skypephone available in the near future, and this time round, the unit will be manufactured by Amoi. As a second generation VoIP model, the Skypephone 2 will experience tweaks for the better in terms of the user interface in addition to hwardware improvements. It has a “carousel” interface that somewhat resembles the yet-to-be-released Android platform, and this HSDPA-enabled handset will also come with a 3.2 megapixel camera for you to capture decent impromptu shots. The Skypephone 2 is said to retail for £70 and will be released before August is over.
